June 30 marked the 10th anniversary of the publication of my Politically Incorrect Guide to the Founding Fathers. I knew that the founding generation was under assault when I wrote it, but little did I know things would spiral out of control so quickly. In ten years we have gone from contextualization to outright removal. You can’t but the original U.S. Flag on shoes because it’s racist. You can’t celebrate Jefferson’s birthday in Charlottesville, VA–Jefferson’s home!–because it’s racist. This is insanity, but is it? Not to the progressives. This is by design.
